Fertilising

Nutritional inputs depend a lot on your lawn species. Some grasses need plenty to stay looking good, such as your ryes and Tall Fescue. I recommend a minimum of 4 fertiliser applications annually.

A couple of things to bare in mind are that some diseases are brought about by low fertility...Red thread and Dollar spot some by high fertility...Fusarium (especially in winter)
The more you fertilise, the more you need to mow and dethatch.
